House. C17, remodelled in early C18; late C19 alterations. Probably originally
timber-framed. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled C20 tile roof; brick end stacks.
2-unit plan with central through-passage. One storey and attic; 3-window range.
Chamfered timber lintels over C20 door and late C19 three-light casements; late
C19 gabled half-dormers with bargeboards and similar casements. C20 extension to
rear. Interior: stop-chamfered beam to left; chamfered beam and joists, early
C18 panelled door and straight-flight stairs with turned balusters on closed
string in room to right. 3-bay collar-truss roof with butt purlins; tie beam and
wall plate of central truss have been cut away.
