TF 93 SE LITTLE SNORING GT. SNORING ROAD

4/42 Detached tower
Church of St. Andrew.

I

West round tower and nave gable of demolished church. C11 - C12. Flint with
carstone dressings, formerly rendered. 4 trefoil lancets inserted into
original round-headed unmoulded splayed windows and to the nave gable a tri-
angular headed nave gable doorway. To east the former nave doorway, a one
step carstone arch on quoins. Buttressed and gabled outline of former nave
west gable against the east face of the tower. c.1900 brick eaves and tiled
conical roof with 4 small gabled dormers and lead finials.
