C17/18 house. Plastered timber frame. Steep black glazed pantile roof with
gabled ends. Two storeys and attic (attic windows in gable ends). C19 and
modern casements. Modern glazed door and modern porch. Brick chimney stack
off centre. Good early C18 doorway on south end (No 41) with moulded doorcase
with pediment with modillions and pulvinated frieze. Projecting one storey
wing on right. late C19, former village shop. Lean-to at rear.
