TG 0324 FOULSHAM HIGH STREET

6/7 Rose Villa

G.V. II

Semi-detached house, 2-storeys, early C19. Red brick, part rendered and colour-
washed. Black pantiled roof. Main facade of original house, Rose Villa, of 5-bays
with sash windows and gauged brick segmental arches. Timber doorcase with consoles,
and 6-panel part glazed door. Brackets to eaves, gable chimney stacks and end parapet
gables. Rear rendered, with C20 extension. Later addition forming part of Fern
Cottage is not of special interest. Wall adjoining High Street of red brick with
wrought iron railings.
