of Sixth Duke

Column and bust. Erected c1840. Ancient fluted marble column
form Minerva Sunnias, set on a square sandstone base.
Surmounted by a bust of the Sixth Duke of Devonshire carved by
Campbell in c1820. The gardens and park are included on the
Gardens Register at Grade I.
