Former Inn, now shop with flat above. Early C16 and C17 with C19 and C20
alterations. Rendered ground floor. First floor timber-frame with C19
timber-frame cladding. Flint rubble rear walls. Pantile roof. T-shape plan.
The basement and first floor extends over and beneath Nos. 45 and 47.
Central door with flanking picture-windows. Yard entries to left and right.
Left-hand side with moulded timber surround. 2 C19 mullion and transom
windows at first floor. Crude crown-post roof. Early C17 rear range with long
frieze window at first floor and re-used C16 windows.
