GV II

Town house, later subdivided. C17, remodelled C18 and
renovated c1980. Granite rubble walls with C20 timber lintels;
steep dry slate roofs; C20 brick stack on left. L-shaped plan
including wing at right-angle to rear left. 2 storeys;
3-window range. C20 three-light casements to 1st floor
(replacing C18 casements with central opening lights); C20
sashes to ground floor; C20 six-panel door to No.102 (left)
and through-passage left of centre. INTERIOR when inspected
c1980 retained many C17, C18 and C19 features (many of which
were later removed) including: C17 chamfered ceiling beams;
pegged roof structures; C18 staircase with turned balusters
and a very large brick oven to rear of wing.
