GV II

Formerly farmhouse and cottage, now farmhouse: partly late C17 and
partly early-mid C18 with some later alterations. Washed brick.
Welsh slate roof and 2 brick chimneys. Long range of house and
cottage in line. 2 and 3-storey, 7-bay front. Right 3 bays of 3
storeys are symmetrical. Clasping plain end pilasters. End bays have
cambered heads to 3-light wooden casements, some with glazing bars.
Central bay flanked by plain strip pilasters. 6-panelled door has a
single triangular pediment above on a modillion cornice. 2-light
casement above. Remainder of 2 storeys has dentil cornice, similar
3-light casements, 2 with glazing bars either side of a door with
simple fanlight. Left end bay has a small-pane fire window. 3-storey
gabled porch to rear.
