30m. S of Manor Farmhouse

GV II
Barn and stables. Late C17/early C18; stables late C18/early C19. Limestone
rubble with some ashlar dressings; corrugated-asbestos and Welsh-slate roofs.
4-bay barn with full-height doors to right of centre and a lower opposed door to
rear. Outer bays have slits and some blocked loft openings. Slated stables,
added to right, have a stable door between windows, 3 similar openings at first
floor, a cart entrance to extreme left and a loft doorway to extreme right with
stone and blue-brick steps. All openings have segmental arches. interior: barn
trusses have ties and collars and carry 2 rows of butt purlins plus a ridge
purlin; rafters mostly old.
