9/187 Woodlea and Corner Cottage

GV II

2 houses. Early C18. Coursed squared marlstone and limestone with wooden
lintels; Stonesfield-slate, concrete plain-tile and corrugated-iron roofs with
brick stacks. Single-unit plan and L-plan. 2 storeys. 2-window front of Woodlea
has the entrance to right and, to left, the entrance to Corner Cottage, flanking
a 3-light casement; two 2-light casements at first floor. All windows have
leaded glazing. Stone-slated roof has stack to right. To left, Corner Cottage,
has a 2-window front with 3-light casements at ground floor and 2-light
casements above, all with leaded glazing. Tiled roof has a stack to right and is
hipped to left, returning to a long rear range, the end section of which has a
corrugated iron roof. Interiors not inspected.
