House. C17, possibly partly earlier, altered early C19. Coursed squared
marlstone and some random rubble with ashlar dressings; Stonesfield-slate roof
with limestone-ashlar gable stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys. Wing projecting on left.
3-window front has 2-light stone-mullioned windows, with labels and lattice
glazing, in the gable wall. Main range has 3-light mullioned windows in the
right bay and 2-light mullioned windows adjoining the wing; all have lattice
glazing and ground-floor windows have labels. Segmental-arched doorway in return
wall of wing. Rear of main range has further mullioned windows. Gables have C19
parapets; main range has C19 stacks with plinths and moulded caps. Rubble
stonework in lower parts of both ranges may be C16/early C17. Interior not
inspected.
