House, formerly sub-divided. Partly C17, altered and extended C18 and
re-modelled C20. Coursed squared marlstone; Stonesfield-slate roof with C20
brick stacks. T-plan. 2 storeys plus attic; 2-window front now has C20 windows
and lintels with a further window in the blocked central doorway. Rear wing has
some segmental-arched windows and, to left, a C17 stair projection with canted
sides and a small chamfered window opening. Interior not inspected but said to
retain a winder stair. Formerly a public house.
