Terrace of 6 houses, now shops. Early C19 with later additions and
alterations. Rendered brick, slate roof partly concealed by coped parapet
with 2 stacks behind to centre. 3 storeys, moulded eaves cornice and
coupled pilasters dividing each tenement, fourth from left with paterae
and rosettes to capital; 6-window front, mainly glazing bar sashes,
fourth from left on second floor with moulded architrave, those to right
on same floor blind; late C19 shop front to No. 5 and C20 shop fronts
to Nos. 1, 3, 7 and 9. Round-arched passageway to left. The terrace
stands on a curve at the junction of Leg Street and Beatrice Street.
