- adjoining to South-west

GV II

Barn, now house and garages. Early C17 with late C19 and mid-to-
late C20 alterations. Weatherboarded timber frame, partly rebuilt
in partially rendered coursed limestone rubble; graded stone slate
and slate roof. Probably 4 framed bays. One storey and one storey and
attic. House to right with rendered stack behind ridge to right,
gabled semi dormer with 3-light casement to left, ground floor late
C19 four-pane sash to right and C20 half-glazed door with window to
left; garages to left with 2 pairs of large boarded doors; 2 fixed
small-paned windows to right and smaller boarded door to left.
Left-hand gable-end with 2-light attic casement and 4-light ground
floor casement. Interior: peculiar enlarged bases to frame posts
(like jowls); double purlin roof, and collar-and-tie-beam trusses
with queen struts.
