No.1 and outbuilding to west

House and outbuilding. C17 with probably mid to late C19 refacing and
C19 outbuilding. Probably formerly timber framed, now coursed limestone
rubble, rendered to south and to east, rendered timber framed staircase
wing and C20 plain tile roof. Aligned north-east/south-west, aspect
north-west. 2 room plan with central stair turret to south-east
forming T-plan. 1½ storeys. North-west front: gabled dormer to right
with C20 2-light casement and central brick ridge stack. Small central
attic casement beneath eaves; ground floor C20 2-light casement to
right and blocked window to left flanking half-glazed door off-centre
to right. South-east front: C20 eaves dormer to left. Central gabled
stair turret with first floor C20 3-light casement; segmental headed
2-light C19 casement to right, and C20 lean-to addition to left with
3-light casement. Outbuilding: coursed limestone rubble and red brick
with corrugated iron roof. North-west front: 2 boarded doors, that
to right in 2 leaves.
