Cottage. Circa 1500 with C17 and C20 alterations. Timber framed with
rendered infil panels, painted stone plinth, and thatched roof. Probable
former open hall of 4 framed bays. Framing: rectangular panels, 2 and
3 to wall plate, and short straight braces. One storey and attic. C20
raking eaves-dormer off-centre to right with 4-light casement, and
rendered ridge stack off-centre to left. Irregular 7-window front,
C20 casements, mostly small in size; boarded door between first and
second windows from left with gabled wooden porch. Interior: arch-
braced full cruck truss dividing first and second framed bays from
left, others queen strut trusses; evidence of cross passage in line
with door, probable C17 inserted floor and stack.
