4/42 Old smithy about
15m north of the
Horse Shoe Inn

GV II

Smithy, disused. Late C19. Rubblestone with red brick dressings, graded
slate roof and integral ridge stack to south. Roughly L-shaped in plan, long
range projecting to south and short range rounded at north-west corner. Wide-
ledged double doors under broad cambered arch to left, hatch to right. The
long range has a Victorian letter box in its north wall. Included for Group
Value with the Horse Shoe Inn.
