5/58 Barn aprox. 20m south-
- west of Ty'n-y-coed


Barn. Late C17 with minor later alterations. Weatherboarded timber
frame with uncoursed limestone rubble to right gable end; corrugated iron
roof. Doorways to left and right and gabled eaves dormer to right of
centre. Interior. Framing visible: square panels, 2 from cill to wall-
plate with long straight tension braces. Double-purlin roof in 3 wide
bays with raking struts from tie beams to principal rafters to first and
second trusses from left and collar and tie beam end trusses, left with
V-struts from collar. Inserted loft to 2 left bays.
