ABCOTT, Barn approximately 50 yards west of Abcott Manor

Barn. Early C18. Weatherboarded timber framing; slate roof. Three
framed bays, aligned north-south. One storey; central barn doors.
Low C18 extension to the right, half weatherboarded timber framing and
half limestone rubble. Boarded door to the right. INTERIOR. Long
straight tension braces. The inner roof trusses have angle struts extending
from tie beams to principals; collar and tie beam end trusses with v-
struts above the collar and three vertical struts below. Two pairs of purlins
and ridge piece. Included for group value.
