Remains of engine house. Late C19. Roughly coursed limestone rubble with
red brick dressings to angles and window surrounds; now roofless.
Rectangular plan. 3 levels; remains of round-headed opening on south-east
side. Associated with former local lead mining industry and forms a
prominent feature in the landscape. B.O.E. p.242.
