Cottage. C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber-framed with
painted brick infill on gritstone plinth, gritstone addition, thatch
roof. Original 2-cell plan extended by apparently mid-C20 addition to
left. One storey and attic with semi-basement to left; framing:
square panels, 3 from cill to wall-plate with short straight tension
braces, cambered tie beam to right gable end; prominent 4-light C20
raking eaves dormer to left of C17 part with C20 casement to right
of C20 door; C20 addition has casement to centre and raking eaves
dormer; integral brick end stack to right and ridge stack to left of
centre. Single-storey C20 additions to rear not of special
architectural interest.
