Cottage, latterly divided. Mid-C17 with late C19 and late C20 alterations
and additions. Timber framed with C20 painted brick nogging. Left-hand
gable end rebuilt in painted brick with further brick additions at rear.
Plain tile roof. Framing: small square panels (3 from sole plate to wall
plate) with long straight tension braces. Former baffle-entry plan of 2
framed bays. One storey and attic. Central brick ridge stick. Pair of
large restored timber framed gabled eaves dormers with 2-light wooden
casements. Evidence of 2 blocked doorways, between second and third
windows from left and first and second windows from right. Collar and
tie-beam truss in right-hand gable end with queen struts and V-struts
and remains of truss in left-hand gable end with collar and V-struts.
C20 brick lean-to addition at rear. Present entrance at rear. Interior
not inspected.
