House, now shop and flat. Early to mid-C17, remodelled in the mid-C20.
Timber framed on brick plinth with painted brick nogging, refaced in brick
with planted timbers. Plain tile roof. Framing: square panels with
closely-spaced studs to rear range. Pair of deep chamfered beams with
broach stops beneath passageway with ogee-stopped chamfered joists. L-
plan; 2 framed bays with wing to rear. 2 storeys. Dentil brick eaves
cornice and parapeted gable end to right, rebuilt in the C20 with a
blue-brick coping. 2 first-floor C20 small-paned wooden casements. C20
shop-front to right. Wide passageway (Blue gates) to left with blocked ogee-arched
doorway. 2-storey timber framed rear wing with pair of first-floor 4-pane
boxed sashes and pair of ground-floor small 2-light wooden casements
flanking 4-panelled door. Interior not inspected. Includes No.19A, Bluegates.
