(Thimble Cottage)

GV II

House at end of row, formerly shop. C18 with modifications. Local stone rubble with ashlar quoins, rendered East gable;
plain clay tile roofs. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Bay 1 has early C20 shopfront with timber Doric pilasters, medium fascia and
moulded hood, rendered stall riser and very wide 4-pane sash windows, later half-glazed door to right; big 9-pane sash
windows to lower bay 2 and to upper bays 12-pane sash windows. Interior not seen. Primarily included for group
value.
