Farmhouse; medieval origins, reshaped C18 and C19. Lias stone, but with red brick facade, English garden wall bond, Ham
stone dressings; thatched roof with stepped coped gable to west, plain east gable; brick chimney stacks. Two storeys, 4
bays. Below, 4-light hollow chamfered mullioned windows with flat heads and square labels, having rectangular leaded
panes, some in iron framed opening lights with external stays; above, 3-light leaded casements, again with iron framed
opening lights; to lower bay 2 boarded door in heavy frame under timber lintol, with C20 curved metal porch hood. C20
casement in west gable; proudstanding stone chimney stack with offsets to east gable. Internally somewhat altered in
C19, but roof frame has jointed crucks with windbraces. Attached to south east corner a single-storey stone building
with thatched roof, with half-timbered gable panel and small window, now blocked. (VAG Report, SRO Unpublished,
