Chest tomb in railed enclosure. C19. Ham stone, with wrought iron railings, Moulded base; simple panels with incised
borders having reverse curves at corners, with reeded pilasters to both ends and flanks; thin steeply hipped top.
Commemorates John Spordel (or Spordle), died 1840. Paved surround with 150mm stone kerb, on which are set railings
with spear heads, with thicker balusters and ornamented fluted spikes to corners.
