Cottage. C17. Coursed squared ironstone, thatched roof, brick end stacks, that
to left on stone base. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. Central
6-panel door with moulded wood architrave and deep panelled reveals, buttress to
left and 3-light leaded ovolo wood mullion window with timber lintel, a 3-light
casement window to far left with moulded stone jambs and stop-chamfered timber
lintel. A C20 window with concrete lintel to right of door, a 3-light casement
with timber lintel further to right. 2-light leaded casements to first floor
except for C20 casement to far left. To far right a later addition of finer
masonry, probably late C18, with part-glazed c19 door over plank door to cellar
below with timber lintel. Interior noted as having chamfered spine beams and
open fireplace with chamfered bressumer.
