Circa 1835. Tudor-Gothick. 2 storeys ashlar with crenellated parapet and pairs of
diagonal end chimneys to "M' slate roof, one corner pinnacle remains to front.
Weathered side buttresses. Plain band as cornice. 5 bays, centre in slight break,
2 light ogee Tudor windows with stone mullions and drips, sashes with glazing bars,
internal ogee panelled shutters. Projecting central porch with clustered shaft
colonettes and ogee Tudor arch to front and similar (blind) side arches.
Crenellated with corner pinnacles. Glazed doors. 4 bay rendered return to Vicarage
Street with 2 shop fronts, parapet continued between roof slopes. 4 bay return to
Garsdale Yard with projecting wing with door to right, pointed door; 3 windows on
ground floor have marginned glazing.
