Milestone. Early C19, reset C20. Possibly sandstone and cast iron.
Unusually tall cambered head stone, about one metre high set with
cast iron plaque semi-circular central section to head, incised
lettering: '10 miles to Minehead'. The road was turnpiked in 1824.
