GV II

Gate lodge. c1889. Ruabon red brick to ground floor with
timber-framing above and hipped plain tiled roof with ridge
cresting and finials. Picturesque asymmetry, 2-storeyed,
2-window range. Canted bay window to ground floor with 2-light
mullioned and transomed windows to left, gabled porch to right
with herringbone panelled door with side lights. Swan finial
to cresting on roof of porch. 2 parallel gables to street with
3-window range of 2- and 4-light casements. Rear wall stacks.
