Quite a large house in its own grounds. Now houses the Somerset Education Museum.
Probably mid C19. 2 storey whitewashed front facing south. Slate roof, eaves
and bargeboards with brackets. Thick band over ground floor. 5 windows with modern
frames. Paired French windows to ground floor. Lower whitewashed brick range
at rear on right.
Weir House, Weir Lodge and Gatepiers form a group together with Nos 86 to 90 (even)
Staplegrove Road, the Summerhouse at Language Centre, The Cottage, and Swiss Cottage,
Linden Grove.
