Barn. Late C17, with later alterations. Timber framed,
weatherboarded, on brick plinth. Right (east) gable end has brick
infilling with herringbone frieze between broadly-spaced studs under
midrail. Plain tile roof. 4 timber-framed bays with rear aisle.
Built at right-angles to road. Hipped roof with gablets. Full-
height double doors to second timber-framed bay from left. Pivoting
six-pane casement, double doors and stable door to left gable end.
Interior: cut jowls to principal posts. Straight braces to arcade
plate. Clasped-purlin roof with diminishing principal rafters, and
with re-used medieval rafters. Included for group value.
