House, now house row. C15 or early C16 with C19 and C20 alterations. Ground
floor C19 red brick in Flemish bond, first floor exposed studding with plaster
infilling. Plain tile roof. 4 timber-framed bays. 2 storeys, on brick
plinth. First floor close-studded, with tension brace to right end. Shallow-
pitched roof. Tall brick ridge stack to right end of shorter left central bay,
and projecting brick stack to right gable end. Irregular fenestration of 4
casements. Boarded door beneath stack to Nos. 1 and 3, and boarded door with
rectangular light at left end of right end bay, to No. 5. Interior: only
partly inspected. Exposed framing to No. 5 with shutter groove.
