GV II
Farmhouse. C15 core with C17, C18, and C19 alterations. Timber-
framed with C19 red brick ground floor and weatherboarded first-
floor. Right gable end weatherboarded on ground floor, tile-hung on
first floor in C19. Left gable end brick on ground floor, weather-
boarded above. Plain tile roof. Aproximately 3 timber-framed bays
including narrow stackbay originally with further bay(missing)
to right. Right bay probably right end of open hall. Right end
wall, rear wall, and possibly others C15; flooring and chimney C17
left end and dormers C18. 2 storeys on flint plinth with
hipped roof. Central brick ridge stack. 2 hipped dormers. Regular
fenestration of two 3-light casements. Central panelled door
under flat hood. C19 rear lean-to. Interior: partly inspected;
C15 end of hall partition to right with heavy braces. C17, C18
and C19 features. Partly in Otterden Civil Parish.
