1/16 The White House

GV II

House. 1834 extension to the Old Rectory (qv). Brick. Now
rendered. hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves. 2 lateral
stacks. Plinth. North front: 2 storeys; 3 bays. Off-centre
doorway with 6-panel door with overlight. To left, a very small
window. To right 2 glazing-bar sashes. Above, 3 glazing-bar
sashes. All openings have painted flat arches. C20 garage
extension to right.
INTERIOR: open-well staircase with open string, 2 turned
balusters per tread, moulded handrail and newel with ball on top.
