House. Dated 1737, with C19 and C20 alterations. Brick. Slate roof with coped
west gable. 2 gable stacks and ridge stack. South front: 2 storeys, 3 bays.
Off-centre doorway with cambered arch and 4-panel door. To left, a 3-light case-
ment. To right, a 2-light casement. Above, three 2-light casements. All C20
casements, all with cambered arches. West gable end wall has initials IW and date
1737 in burnt headers. North elevation has a single storey stone porch, probably
C19. Early listing refers to interior as having a bressumer supported on an early
C17 bracket, with strapwork carving, and staircase with turned balusters and
moulded newel and handrail.
