DUNTON BASSETT
LITTLE LUNNUN (West Side)
No. 2

GV
II
Cottage. Probably early C18. Rendered over mud, with thatched roof. Tiny two unit plan, one and a half storeyed. Central door and three-light casement windows flanking it. Recent canted bay window in gable wall. Eyebrow dormer with two-light casement above. Axial stack. Crudely chamfered spine beam within and single surviving roof truss; the other has been replaced probably in the C19, by brick. The surviving truss has curved principals. Additions to rear of C20 are not of special interest.
