House and Post Office, formerly 5 cottages. C18, altered early C19.
Whitewashed rendered brick and thatch and Welsh slate roof with 3 brick ridge
stacks. 3 ranges, that to left of 1 1/2 storeys, those to right of 2. Left
range has 4 2-light Gothic casements with Y tracery. Plank door far right. 4
similar eyebrow dormers 1/2 below eaves. Range in centre has a centre-opening
3-light casement both floors. Range to right has 2 2-light casements over
part-glazed door, 3-light horizontal sliding sash, 3-light casement, and part
glazed door. Cambered lintels to ground floor in centre and right ranges and
band in part on right range. Right end wall said to be of mud in part.
Chamfered beams inside.
