House. C17, re-roofed and probably rear wing of 1898. Rubble stone, mostly
rendered and red brick. Welsh slate roof with brick end stacks. 2.1/2
storeys of 2 3-light stone mullion windows. Central C19 gables, brick porch
with Gothic archway. Low wide part-glazed door within. Over this a blocked
1-light window. 3 2-light hipped dormers. On right end a 1 storey extension
with 2-light casement. 2.1/2 storey brick wing to rear. Formerly the
Hazlerigg Arms Inn. V.C.H., Vol. V.
