Office Building. 1880's. Stone with slate roof. 4 storeys
with basement and attic, 7 bays of varying widths.
Basement, 1st and 2nd floor bays separated by attached
shafts with foliated capitals supporting cornice. The
windows to 2nd and 6th bays are tripartite with iron
mullions. 1st floor windows with segmental heads cut by
flat floors have wider windows to 4th and 6th bays. 2nd
floor windows are round headed cut by flat lintels, carved
pendants between windows. 3rd floor windows have projecting
sill on brackets. Top bracketed cornice and parapet with
carved panels and central inscription reading "MINERVA
CHAMBERS". Mansard roof with round dormers.
