SK 84 SW LONG BENNINGTON CHURCH STREET (north east)

4/55 Priory House Outbuilding

G.V. II

Former house, now outbuilding. C17 timber frame with C18 red brick casing.
Pantile roof with catslides and gable stack. Single late C19 window of 3 lights
in east and west walls, a small rectangular window on the east wall with
rectangular doorway and plain wooden doorway with plain wood door set between
windows. Internally, a 3 bay, 2 purlin roof with the purlins tenoned into
the tie beams. Large, late C18 brick fireplace in south wall. The room is
divided by ornate panelling from Karachi.
