Farmhouse. c.1740, altered C19 and C20. Red brick in Flemish
bond with painted brick dressings, old pantile roof and 2 brick
gable stacks. Originally L-plan, now extended. 2 storey with
attics, 5 bay front having plinth and first floor band with C19
dentillated eaves course. C20 half glazed doors covered by C20
brick porch with gabled lead roof having half glazed outer doors
and plain wooden pilastered surround and open pediment, flanked
by pairs of glazing bar sashes and to first floor 5 similar
windows. All windows have segmental brick heads with painted
splayed lintels. The 2 dormers have C20 hinged glazing bar
casements and low segmental heads with lead cheeks. At the rear
are extensive C20 extensions, not of special interest.
