Detached house, now divided into 2 dwellings. c1840 with later
additions and alterations. Red brick with plain clay tile
roof. End stacks to front roof slope with oversailing detail
and pots. Stone window sills and copings to both the eaves
parapet and the part-curvilinear gable parapets. Timber porch.
Double-depth plan with central hallway and staircase. 2
storeys and attic. 3 first-floor windows. All windows 6/6
sashes in plain reveals with sills and flat gauged-brick
arches. 5-panel door, upper pair and centre panel raised and
fielded with bolection mouldings, lower pair of panels flush
double-beaded; fanlight. Fluted pilasters and columns to
porch. 3/3, 6/6, and 1/1 sashes with margin-glazing to return
elevations. Service ranges to rear now form a separate
dwelling.
