SK 98 NE OWMBY BY SPITAL ERMINE STREET

5/35 Owmby Cliff Farm

Farmhouse. Early C19. Coursed limestone rubble with brick
dressings, slate roof with 2 brick gable stacks, T-plan. 2 storey
3 bay front with central 6 panelled door with traceried fanlight
having panelled wooden reveals and doorcase with decorated
pilasters and an open pediment over. To right is an inset
bootscraper and beyond a single plain sash. To left is a C19
canted bay window with plain sash and hipped slate roof. To 1st
floor are 3 plain sashes. All sashes have segmental heads with
splayed rubbed brick arches.
