1899. Ground floor of red brick forms plinth to building. Above, yellow stocks
with red brick dressings. Cornice above 3rd floor windows. Slate roof with Flemish
style gables and finials, end turrets. 4 storeys and dormers, 19 windows (with
small windows between). Sashes with segmental arches and contemporary glazing
bars. Inner facade with open staircase wells at intervals. Large brick stacks.
2 bays to Old Nichol Street.
