Terrace house originally c.1735-43 as part of rebuild of this part of street, by
Jonathan Frith, painter, altered with repairing c.1838-39. Stock brick, slate roof. 3 storeys and dormered mansard. 4 windows wide with 2 window return to Noel Street. Ground floor has altered mid to later C19 shop front with fascia to both fronts and corner entrance. Upper floors have recessed sashes, with later C19 glazing, under flat gauged arches. Parapet with coping; segmental arched dormers. Interior retains in shop the configuration of two former rooms, now thrown into one, with modillion cornices and moulded compartmented ceilings.
