Group of terrace houses. c. 1730 but much altered for hotel.
Cement rendered, slate roof. 4 storeys, basements and dormered
mansards. Doorways altered or converted to windows early to mid
C20. No 39: 3 windows wide, no glazing bars to sashes, parapet with
coping. No 40: 4 windows wide between giant pilasters, no glazing
bars to sashes; over 2nd floor deep moulded cornice breaks over
the giant order. No 41: 3 windows wide, no glazing bars to sashes.
No 42 similar.
