Terrace house. Mid to late C18, altered early C20. Brown brick with largely early C20
red brick and stone dressings, slate roof. Four storeys, basement and pediment
dormered mansard. Originally 4 windows wide altered to 3 on second floor. Mid C20
shop front to ground floor. First floor has a pair of tripartite sash windows with
engaged stone columns and entablature in a later C18 manner giving on to cast iron
balcony. Second and third floors have revealed sashes with gauged red brick flat
arches and stone aprons to sills. Bracketed stone cornice and parapet. Interior has
cut string stone staircase with wrought iron lyre pattern balustrade.
