Lodge. Early C19. Probably J. Nash. Stone. 2 storeys, 3
bays; 1st bay lower and recessed. Top drip mould and
embattled parapet. Windows have small-paned casements. 2nd
and 3rd bays have lancet openings, above roof level . Round-
headed entrance to 1st bay, right of window. Chimneys in
angles behind parapet. Right return has 2 ground floor
windows; gate to right has rusticated gate piers and paired
iron gates of Gothic pattern. Built as Lodge to Childwall
Hall (now demolished).
