Block of 2 estate houses. 1880's for Rothschild Estate probably by
William Huckvale. W end extension later C20. Plum brick with 1st floor
plastered to represent half-timbering, and steep roofs of machine-made
red tiles. A picturesque 1½ storeys block facing N with central lean-to
open timber porch with 2 doors and gabled window in middle of N front
over. Plinth and moulded band below plastered 1st floor. 3-light and
2-light casement windows divided. Segmental arches to ground floor. Tall
internal chimneys. Matching brick and tile W extension.
